? €30,000–€35,000 gross per year, depending on experience
SmartBio Analytics is looking for a Study Director to join our growing team. We are a GLP-certified bioanalytical CRO specialising in LC-MS/MS, and we are expanding both our bioanalytical laboratory and our advanced therapies area.
In this role, you will take scientific and regulatory responsibility for bioanalytical studies, from planning through to final reporting. You will work closely with our laboratory team and Quality Assurance, and communicate directly with international clients. You may also act as Principal Investigator for bioanalytical phases of multi-site studies.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and review study plans with clients.
- Oversee study execution, ensuring compliance with GLP, internal procedures and applicable requirements.
- Review data, manage deviations and prepare final reports.
- Serve as the main scientific contact for clients throughout their studies.
- Support audits and inspections in collaboration with Quality Assurance.
- Help expand our LC-MS/MS capabilities and develop our advanced therapies area.
What we’re looking for
- A degree in biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry, biology or a related field.
- Experience in bioanalysis and study management, ideally in a GLP environment.
- Knowledge of LC-MS/MS, sound scientific judgement and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent spoken and written English for direct communication with international clients.
A PhD would be particularly valuable, especially for a candidate who could contribute to an R&D; project eligible for a Torres Quevedo grant application, subject to the programme’s requirements. Experience with emerging therapeutic modalities would also be an advantage. We are a small company with ambitious growth plans.
