Experteer Overview
As a Project Manager in Novanta’s Ru0026amp;D team, you will shepherd new robotic products from concept to launch. You’ll gain hands-on, cross-functional experience across hardware, software, procurement, and manufacturing, guiding projects within a growing robotics and automation portfolio. You’ll work with engineers and leaders to develop, monitor, and deliver programs on time and to quality. This role offers clear visibility, growth, and a chance to contribute to mission-critical automated solutions.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, procurement, sales, manufacturing) to meet scope and schedules
• Create and follow project management plans aligned with ISO 9001 Product Development Process and regulatory requirements
• Track RAID items (risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions) and document key decisions
• Manage resources and support project staffing
• Develop and maintain project documentation (charters, meeting minutes, KPIs, closure presentations)
• Manage timelines to ensure on-time, on-scope, quality deliverables
• Interface with customers and suppliers to ensure clear communication with internal stakeholders




• Coordinate project activities with customer/product development processes and prepare business reviews for executives
• Collaborate with engineering teams to align with roadmaps and capability development
• Utilize project management tools to track, report, and communicate progress
• Lead project meetings and provide reliable updates to stakeholders
• Attend customer meetings to align requirements and capture notes
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety regulations

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• 1-3 years of Project Management experience
• 3-5 years cumulative project experience
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written English communication
• Familiarity with Smartsheet or MS Project (or similar) desired
• PMP certification a plus
• Familiarity with ISO9001 or ISO13485 compliance a plus
• Travel ~10% or less
