We are looking for an experienced Freelance Business Analyst to support fraud-related projects within a leading financial institution. You will join a team that is responsible for delivering fraud-prevention and detection solutions and supporting the organisation’s wider fraud strategy.

Role & Responsibilities:

As Business Analyst, you will structure business needs and guide fraud-related features from initial idea through delivery and go-live.

- Lead the business analysis of end-to-end initiatives and features within the agreed scope and priorities.
- Facilitate workshops to collect, clarify and challenge business needs.
- Apply Agile ideation and refinement techniques while coordinating stakeholders and contributors.
- Translate business and customer needs into clear, structured and actionable requirements.
- Challenge requirements regarding efficiency, strategic alignment, scalability and customer impact.
- Document requirements, support functional analysis and clarify the expected behaviour of technical solutions.
- Use process flows, mock-ups, visuals and data to validate requirements with stakeholders.
- Ensure that customer-experience considerations are incorporated into the solution.
- Prepare and participate in end-to-end testing of new or enhanced functionality.
- Monitor testing and communicate progress, defects, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Support change management, operational onboarding, implementation and go-live.
- Identify constraints and impediments, take action to keep delivery on track and communicate decisions transparently.

Profile

- At least six years of relevant Business Analyst experience and a master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with end-to-end ownership of initiatives or features.
- Experience with test preparation, execution, defect follow-up and the functional impact of technical solutions.
- Knowledge of banking fraud prevention and detection; practical experience with related processes,



controls or solutions is an advantage.
- An analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach, with the autonomy to manage changing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder-management, teamwork and customer-focused communication skills.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
