Responsibilities

- Define and maintain the product vision, objectives, and roadmap in alignment with Data Services strategy.
- Act as the primary representative of business stakeholders and end-users.
- Own, manage, and continuously prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value, risks, dependencies, and delivery capacity.
- Gather, challenge, refine, and translate business requirements into actionable backlog items.
- Work closely with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Architects, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure requirements are clearly defined and understood before development starts.
- Maximize the business value delivered by the squad through effective prioritization and scope management.
- Ensure delivery of valuable product increments within agreed objectives and timelines.
- Act as the functional decision-maker and arbitrate between competing business priorities.
- Coordinate with architecture, data governance, security, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Participate actively in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Support sprint objectives, release planning, and continuous product improvement.
- Ensure squad activities remain aligned with the overall product roadmap and business strategy.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data,



analytics, reporting, and self-service capabilities.
- Promote Agile, customer-centric, collaborative, and value-driven ways of working.

Skills & Experience

Mandatory:

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Data Management, or Agile Delivery.
- Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum, SAFe, or Agile@Scale.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
- Ability to translate business needs into product requirements, backlog items, and delivery roadmaps.
- Experience with Product Backlog management and prioritization.
- Understanding of Data Products and Data Mesh principles.
- Understanding of data, reporting, analytics, or information management environments.
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Leadership and influencing skills without direct authority.
- English proficiency plus at least one local language (French or Dutch).
