Software Solutions Engineer – Semiconductor R&D;

A leading semiconductor company is developing next-generation software and AI solutions to improve the efficiency of semiconductor research, development and manufacturing. We are looking for a Software Solutions Engineer to build production-quality applications, automation and AI-enabled tools that help engineering teams work more efficiently.

You will contribute to the evolution of a Manufacturing Execution System and its wider software ecosystem, developing tools that simplify process definition, execution, reporting and engineering collaboration. You will also build applications and services on top of an enterprise R&D; data platform, working with data, APIs and cloud technologies to turn complex engineering workflows into scalable software solutions.

A key part of the role will be exploring and implementing AI-driven solutions, including AI agents, copilots, RAG and automation workflows that support engineers in their day-to-day activities. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand real-world problems and deliver practical software solutions with measurable impact.

Adecuado candidates will have knowledge of:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or a related discipline

• 4–8 years of experience in software engineering or a similar role





• Strong software development skills and experience building production-quality applications

• Strong Python or equivalent programming experience

• Modern software engineering practices and development methodologies

• Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, RAG and AI-enabled applications

• Machine learning, advanced analytics or data-driven engineering solutions

• REST APIs, databases and data engineering concepts

• Cloud technologies and modern application architectures

• Experience developing automation and workflow-based applications

• Ability to work with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand complex processes

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Fluent written and spoken English
