Chemours | Kallo, Antwerp, Belgium | Hybrid | Permanent
Bachelor’s-level profile | 3-5+ years of B2B customer service or order management experience | Dutch, English and French required | Arabic is a strong advantage
Become the trusted partner behind major automotive customer accounts
As a Customer Excellence Representative at Chemours, you manage the complete order-to-cash journey for an established portfolio of international automotive customers. You are their primary point of contact and make sure that orders, deliveries, information and commitments come together smoothly.
This role goes beyond processing orders. You understand your customers, anticipate their needs and act before issues escalate. If availability changes, a delivery is delayed or export documentation needs attention, you bring the right people together and keep the customer informed. Accuracy is essential, but your ability to stay ahead makes the real difference.
You will join an international customer excellence organisation in Kallo, in the port of Antwerp. In the Thermal & Specialized Solutions team, you work closely with 8 colleagues who support automotive, aftermarket and distribution customers.
What makes this role interesting
You will manage your own customer portfolio and build lasting relationships with recurring contacts at major automotive organisations. Much of the communication takes place digitally through email, SAP and EDI, complemented by customer calls and meetings when needed.
You will also work closely with colleagues across logistics, warehousing, supply chain and the wider business. Orders may arrive through PDF or EDI and then progress through SAP to the warehouse. You maintain oversight of that process, including the required transport and export documentation, and ensure that commitments to customers are met.
You will be trusted to:
- Manage customer inquiries and orders from beginning to end across the order-to-cash process.
- Process complex, international and export orders accurately.
- Monitor open orders and proactively communicate about shortages, transport issues or potential delays.
- Coordinate with internal teams so that customer requirements are understood and delivered.
- Manage consignment stock, including replenishment, inventory, invoicing, counts and reconciliation.
- Handle complaints and returns and identify when additional information is needed.
- Prepare or coordinate transport and export documentation,
including CMR documentation.
- Perform quality checks, correct issues and suggest ways to improve processes.
- Provide backup coverage for colleagues when required.
- Work in line with applicable quality-system procedures and policies.
This position could suit you
You have at least three years of experience in B2B customer service, order management or a similar environment. You understand that excellent service requires more than a quick response: it means maintaining oversight, identifying risks early and coordinating the right solution.
A bachelor’s-level qualification is expected for this position. You communicate confidently with customers and colleagues at different levels and bring strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills. You are precise, dependable and comfortable managing several priorities at once.
For this vacancy, Dutch and English are required, together with French or German. Arabic is a particularly valuable additional language because of the customer markets supported by the team. Applications based on Dutch and English alone will not meet the current language requirements.
Experience in one or more of the following areas would strengthen your profile:
- B2B customer service within an international organisation.
- SAP and EDI order processing.
- Export flows and transport documentation.
- Automotive customers or original equipment manufacturers.
- Logistics, warehousing or supply-chain coordination.
- Chemicals, dangerous goods or another regulated industry.
- Arabic and French language skills.
Your working environment and benefits
This is a permanent, 40-hour position based in Kallo. The role follows a hybrid working model, with Tuesday as the fixed team day and two additional office days selected in coordination with the team. Versátil starting times are available between 07:00 and 09:30.
The position is classified at Belgian job level 21, with an annual base salary range of €49,680 to €77,625 (midpoint around €62.000). The eventual offer will reflect the scope of the position, relevant experience, skills,
internal equity and market data. For an exceptionally experienced person, there may be flexibility to consider a different level.
The package also includes:
- Hospitalisation insurance.
- Meal vouchers.
- A company mobile phone and subscription.
- An employee stock purchase programme.
- Tuition reimbursement and learning opportunities.
- Commuter benefits.
- A company-paid volunteer day.
- Strong inclusion and diversity initiatives.
Visa sponsorship and relocation support are not available. You should therefore already be eligible to work in Belgium and live within reasonable commuting distance of Kallo.
Do you not meet every criterion?
