In this role you design and deliver robust, scalable backend services that power accessibility on a global scale. You will work within a cross-functional team to build reliable APIs and event-driven workflows, shaping how millions experience digital products. The position combines hands-on coding with architecture decisions in a fast-growing, inclusive environment. You’ll have ownership to experiment and drive meaningful improvements.

• Design and deliver high-quality backend services end-to-end
• Develop REST APIs behind API Gateway using TypeScript
• Design asynchronous workflows with SNS and SQS for event-driven architecture
• Manage Docker containers and ECS/ECR deployments
• Lead schema design and performance tuning for Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
• Contribute to AWS CDK stacks and IaC practices

Responsabilidades




• 3+ years of backend experience with production-ready Node.js services
• Fluent server-side TypeScript
• Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, SQS/SNS, ECS, API Gateway, RDS PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
• Strong PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization
• Comfort with distributed systems and complex integrations
• Ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving
• Work eligibility in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Spain or Portugal (remote)
