Gala Capital is looking for an experienced, hands-on Accountant to join our finance team and manage the day-to-day accounting and tax matters of several companies within the Group.

We are looking for someone who is organized, accurate, resourceful, and comfortable working independently. The role provides exposure to a variety of companies, investments, and transactions, making it particularly well suited for someone who enjoys working in a diverse and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Day-to-day accounting: invoices, bank transactions, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, depreciation, and provisions.
- Monthly and year-end closing: preparation of monthly and annual closings and support in the preparation of annual financial statements.
- VAT and tax compliance: preparation and filing of VAT returns, withholding taxes, and other recurring tax obligations.
- Cash management: monitoring bank balances, payments, and collections.
- Audit: preparation of documentation and coordination with external auditors.
- Public authorities:



Filing of documentation with the relevant authorities.
- Reporting: preparation of accounting and financial information for Management, as well as support with other financial and administrative matters across the Group.

What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in an accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting principles and regulations.
- Good command of Excel and accounting software.
- Conversational English.
