Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead the Accounting u0026amp; Reporting function for Glovo’s entities in Italy, Portugal, Spain and Poland from Barcelona. You will oversee month-end closing, audits, and reconciliations, while guiding a 4–6 person team and partnering with local, regional and HQ finance teams. You will drive process improvements and ERP-related initiatives to ensure timely, accurate financial statements and compliance. This is a hands-on, impact-oriented role in a fast-growing, diverse company.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Supervise month-end closing for Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Polish entities
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports
• Lead a team of 4–6 accountants across local and international markets
• Ensure audits are submitted on time and cooperate with external auditors
• Review and approve monthly reconciliations for Pu0026L and balance sheet
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting policies
• Map process improvements with Accounting PMO and drive planning/execution
• Participate in implementation of local ERPs and other finance projects




• Prepare ad hoc分析 to explain Pu0026L deviations vs Business Plan
• Adapt to changes in policy, tax regulations and legislation

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or related field
• 8+ years of accounting experience in multinational companies
• Experience in people management
• Experience with general ledger and month-end/ year-end closing
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and OneStream is a plus
• ERP migration experience is a plus
• Project management experience is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
• Ability to work well in a team and across functions
