Experteer Overview
In this role you will own plant improvement projects from concept through implementation at Unilever's Leioa plant, delivering tangible impact on efficiency, safety and operations. You will collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Safety teams, plus suppliers and contractors, while engaging with global engineering networks. You will design and lead projects that enhance plant performance and capabilities in a fast-paced FMCG setting. • Lead improvement projects from definition to delivery, including scope, resources, timelines and execution plans
• Drive change management for technical projects with structured documentation
• Partner with suppliers and contractors to develop safety and regulatory compliance plans
• Oversee daily project execution, approve work permits and own technical and safety aspects
• Manage project budgets in coordination with Finance and monitor CAPEX plans
• Support engineering governance, project prioritization and cross-functional coordination
• Design installations meeting multi-department needs and translate business requirements into solutions




• Communicate technical requirements clearly to suppliers and lead technical discussions
• Coordinate multiple complex projects with production schedules, shutdowns, safety and quality constraints
• Collaborate with other Unilever sites and integral teams to share knowledge and best practices

Responsabilidades
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
• Potential to grow into project leadership roles and manage projects independently
• Working knowledge of Pu0026ID, Microstation, AutoCAD and MS Office
• Experience managing engineering improvement projects or CAPEX investments preferred
• Strong understanding of safety requirements and engineering best practices in manufacturing
• Excellent project management, organizational and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, hands-on approach balancing shopfloor presence with technical planning
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines
• Advanced English skills for international communication
