Experteer Overview
In this role you will join Hitachi Energy's ES Operations Center in Madrid as part of a multidisciplinary IT/OT system team. You will design, deploy and secure control system features for HVDC projects, focusing on OT components like HMI and SCADA, while contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge MACH control platform deployments and cross-functional collaboration. You will work to balance cybersecurity with reliable, high-availability infrastructure, shaping the next generation of energy grid automation.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design and implement IT/OT systems, networks and cybersecurity for HVDC projects with emphasis on OT (HMI, SCADA, automation)
• Build and maintain complete network and system infrastructure to support operations and ensure cybersecurity levels
• Mentor junior colleagues and drive knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Identify and capture opportunities for system improvements in large HVDC project deployments




• Contribute to deployments of the MACH control platform in HVDC projects

Responsabilidades
• University degree in a relevant technical area or equivalent experience
• Experience with HMI design and testing, Aveva platform, Micro SCADA or similar
• Experience with SCADA, automation design and testing, IEC101/IEC104/IEC61850 or similar, scripting languages
• Experience with databases and high-availability solutions, and with network equipment (firewalls, switches, GPS clocks) and redundant networks
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English; comfortable with customer discussions
• Experience with Microsoft client/server OS, AD and security-relevant systems is meritorious
