Senior Solution Engineer

About Us

We are a leading company in the elevator and vertical transportation industry, delivering innovative solutions across the world. We are looking for a motivated Senior Solution Engineer to join our European Application Engineering team.

Key responsibilities include

- As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will translate customer and project requirements into technically feasible, cost-effective product solutions. You will act as a key technical interface between Sales, Supply Chain, and project execution. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in an international environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while providing technical expertise.
- Lead the development of technical solutions for elevator projects, including complex and non-standard applications.
- Prepare and review layout drawings, technical configurations and pre-engineering packages for offers and project orders.
- Assess technical feasibility, risks and deviations, ensuring solutions consider cost, manufacturability, installation and maintainability.
- Coordinate technical requirements and project information with international teams, internal stakeholders, factories and suppliers.
- Monitor technical project progress, resolve complex engineering issues and provide technical guidance when required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards,



regulations and quality requirements.
- Contribute to standardization, lessons learned and continuous improvement of engineering processes and solutions.

Mobility needs you

Experience: Typically, 5+ years of experience in Application Engineering, R&D; Project Engineering or a similar technical role.

Preferred

- Experience in the elevator industry is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with international and cross-functional teams is an advantage.

Education

- University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or another relevant technical field.

Technical Skills

- Strong ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings and customer requirements.
- Good understanding of technical configuration, feasibility assessment and engineering documentation.
- Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or similar. Revit is a plus.
- Knowledge of product configuration, ERP/SAP or engineering tools is an advantage.
- Good understanding of manufacturing, installation and project execution constraints.
- Knowledge of elevator products, applications and applicable standards is desirable.
