Overview

In this role you will lead EHS due diligence and compliance work for transactions across Iberia and Europe, helping clients identify risks and opportunities. You will integrate with Ramboll’s multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, business-focused solutions that support risk management and regulatory compliance. You will manage due diligence projects for M&A;, private equity, refinancing, and portfolio reviews, communicating findings and guiding corrective actions. This role offers exposure to a broad set of sectors and a chance to shape transaction advisory services within a sustainability-minded organization.

Responsabilidades

- Lead and deliver EHS due diligence projects for M&A;, private equity, refinancing, and portfolio reviews
- Conduct EHS compliance assessments and audits across industrial and commercial sectors
- Review management systems, permits, licenses, obligations, and practices to identify risks
- Support development of corrective action plans and compliance improvement programmes
- Prepare high-quality technical reports and present findings to clients
- Assist with business development, proposals, and client relationship management




- Collaborate with Ramboll's wider environmental, social, sustainability, and transaction advisory teams
- Mentor and share knowledge with junior consultants
- Monitor emerging EHS regulations and industry developments relevant to clients

Requisitos principales

- Approximately 10-15 years of relevant consulting or industry experience in EHS compliance, permitting, due diligence, auditing, or risk management
- 5 years of project management experience
- Experience performing EHS due diligence assessments for corporate, infrastructure, industrial, or private equity clients
- Strong understanding of European and Spanish EHS regulations
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
- Experience preparing technical reports and communicating findings to clients and stakeholders
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Fluent Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
