Software & AI Engineer – Semiconductor R&D; / Manufacturing / MES / AI Agents

We are currently partnered with a semiconductor technology organisation developing software and AI solutions to improve the efficiency of semiconductor research, development, and manufacturing activities. They are looking to hire a Software & AI Engineer to contribute to the evolution of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platform and its surrounding software ecosystem.

The role combines software development, enterprise data platforms, manufacturing systems, and AI-enabled solutions supporting semiconductor engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

- Develop software and AI solutions that improve the efficiency of semiconductor R&D; and manufacturing activities
- Contribute to the development and evolution of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platform
- Develop and enhance software supporting the wider MES ecosystem
- Build tools that simplify process flow definition and process execution
- Develop reporting tools and solutions for engineering teams
- Build software that supports engineering collaboration
- Develop applications and services on top of an enterprise R&D; Data Platform
- Develop AI-enabled applications and solutions for semiconductor engineering workflows
- Design and implement AI agents and copilots supporting engineering teams
- Develop automation solutions to improve engineering and manufacturing activities





Key requirements

- Experience developing software solutions
- Experience working with AI-enabled solutions
- Experience developing applications and services
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms
- Experience or interest in semiconductor R&D; and manufacturing environments
- Experience with manufacturing execution systems or related manufacturing software
- Experience developing automation solutions
- Experience designing or implementing AI agents or copilots
