You will serve as a Supervisory Industrial Specialist (Shipbuilding) in the Waterfront Operations of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA.
You will support the analysis of contractual requirements and applicable technical data or directives to validate the design configuration.
You will verify compliance of contractor technical proposals with the Government's technical requirements, as directed by the solicitation, specifications, and references.
You will manage various types of contracts related to industrial production operations (e.g., You will assess current or future facility and industrial equipment required for operations (e.g., repair, rebuild, or overhaul) to resolve difficult production problems.
This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
