Reports to the Global Head of Operations (Barcelona)
You’ll travel regularly to Barcelona to stay close to the global teams, and across the region — LatAm and the US — as the work requires.
The program integrates curriculum, teacher training, assessment, and intervention into a single coherent system. Present in 9 countries and serving more than 720,000 students, Innovamat is one of the few organizations in the sector with efficacy data independently validated by external research institutions. Over the last few years we've placed people in Mexico as needs appeared — first a support specialist, then logistics, then post-sale operations, then legal. Based in Mexico City and reporting directly to our Global Head of Operations in Barcelona, you will own operations across the Americas: lead the local team, act as the operational counterpart for the region’s business leadership, and make sure the way we run things globally actually works in the markets furthest from headquarters.
Logistics — controlling last-mile delivery across every country in the region
Legal - managing contracts and local compliance across every country across LatAm and the US
Finance Operations - running invoicing, payments and collections for the region, in the right time zone and aligned with local tax requirements
Each of them is functionally connected to a global discipline led from headquarters, and each works daily with country managers and regional leadership. The horizontal lines are global disciplines — production and purchasing,



logistics, planning, operations engineering, revenue analytics, support — each led from Barcelona and each serving every market. The vertical lines are regions: Europe, Spanish LatAm, Brazil, the United States.
You own the American verticals. Your job is to make sure that the wheel those global disciplines turn actually turns well when you look at it from these regions. We design internal processes, tooling and calendars from Barcelona with a general hat on. You’ll have the local context we lack, and we expect you to use it: to tell us when a process doesn't survive contact with reality on your side, and to push until it changes.
You understand how internal processes and systems actually work, and you understand the business well enough to know which trade‑off is the right one.
Solid experience running operations in a fast‑growing, high‑standards environment — operations, supply chain, business operations, regional operations, strategy and operations, or a strong consulting background followed by real operating roles
Strong stakeholder management across cultures, seniority levels and time zones — you’ll be the bridge between local teams, regional leadership and headquarters
Fluent Spanish and English — both, daily
Nice to have: exposure to supply chain or physical distribution, familiarity with CRM and operational tooling (Salesforce and similar), and experience in EdTech or any business serving institutional customers.
