Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order preparation, shipping, and transportation coordination.
Manage and prioritize warehouse resources to ensure service, quality, productivity, and cost objectives are met.
Lead and coach supervisors and warehouse personnel to achieve operational and performance targets.
Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock management, cycle counts, reconciliation activities, and proper stock rotation practices.
Monitor inbound and outbound logistics flows to support customer and business requirements.
Analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement corrective actions to address operational gaps.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
Resolve escalated operational issues impacting inventory, service levels, transportation, or customer satisfaction.
Support workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and performance management activities.
Collaborate with transportation, procurement, manufacturing, planning, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution across the value chain.
Contribute to supply chain risk mitigation and business continuity planning activities.
Directly manages warehouse supervisors, team leaders, and/or operational personnel depending on organizational structure.
Responsible for allocating resources, setting operational priorities, and monitoring team performance.
Conducts performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning for direct reports.

Supply Chain Operations & Risk Management
Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, distribution,



or supply chain management roles.
Prior experience managing teams, supervisors, or operational leaders within a warehouse environment.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehousing processes, and logistics operations.
Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and operational KPI management.
Good understanding of health, safety, quality, and compliance requirements in warehouse operations.
This role is typically an entry-level management position responsible for leading warehouse operations through direct supervision of personnel and/or frontline leaders. It has broader accountability than a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, including performance management, resource planning, continuous improvement leadership, and operational decision-making.
