Job DescriptionA vacancy has arisen for a "Lab Test Means Integration Engineer" within Airbus Defence & Space to be based at Getafe site in Spain. The successful candidate will join the department and will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team, covering the Design and Build, and Integration of the Laboratory Test Means used by all programs of Defense and Space.

Interfacing with external partners and suppliers and communicating with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews, test reports and Project follow-up meetings. HW/SW integration for test benches. Test facilities management and maintenance.

Acceptance test with customers (Internal or External). Contribute to test bench validation activities. Selection of Manufacturing TechnologiesAssembly and Maintainability instructionsProduction and Service Support concurring.





Design & Product improvement activitiesSupport cross-program configuration control and cross-functional proceduresRequired Competences & SkillsDegree in Aeronautical,Telecommunications, Automation & Electronics Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge & high experience in Autocad, Altium designer or other electrical /electronic toolsAbilities to accept delegation.

experience with mission systems, data links, or sensors is a plusInterest in complex systems and continuous learning in test and systems engineeringExperience in software testing is beneficialEligibility for security clearance by the relevant authorities is requiredFluent in Writing and Spoken English (B2 level or higher)Desired Competencies & SkillsKnowledge of aircraft systems. Knowledge and/or experience in work linked to Aeronautical projects.
