About Pitaya & The Role

Pitaya is an independent, fast-moving e-commerce brand. We are a small business where agility, speed, and ownership are key.

This is a hands-on, operational role focused on execution and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. You will support the founder by taking complete ownership of customer experience and core e-commerce tasks. This role is not strategic or purely creative—it requires a reliable, dynamic, and highly adaptable operator who thrives in a small-business environment, learns fast, and brings structure to recurring tasks.

Who You Are

- Based in Barcelona: Essential for local alignment, process coordination, and occasional face-to-face working sessions.
- Fast Learner & Resourceful: You pick up new tools and processes quickly, solve everyday bottlenecks independently, and don’t need step-by-step supervision.
- Versatile & Efficient: You enjoy a fast-paced environment where you can wear multiple hats and deliver fast, high-quality results.

Responsibilities & Scope

- Customer Experience (End-to-End): Manage customer support via Gorgias, handling inquiries, returns, incidents,



and brand communication smoothly.
- E-Commerce Maintenance: Update and maintain Shopify (product listings, basic shop edits, order updates).
- Email Marketing Execution: Set up and dispatch email campaigns via Klaviyo.
- Logistics & Operations: Coordinate with logistics/warehouse partners whenever needed to resolve shipments or inventory issues.
- Process Documentation: Help document and structure operational procedures (SOPs) to keep tasks organized.

Nice to Have (Bonus, not core)

- Basic understanding of Instagram & content publishing rhythm.
- Affinity with the brand’s aesthetic and visual identity.
- Basic design skills to create simple assets (e.g., banners in Canva or newsletter layout).

We are NOT looking for

- Someone looking for a purely creative or high-level strategic role.
- Someone who requires constant direction or hand-holding.
- Someone with no hands-on experience in e-commerce operations.
- Candidates based outside of the Barcelona area.
