Would you like to consolidate, strengthen and further develop the ESG function of a fast-growing renewable energy company?

At Sunco Capital , we develop, build and operate solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) assets across Spain, Italy and Germany. We are looking for an ESG & Communication Specialist who will report directly to the CEO, grow with us and help drive SUNCO Capital’s continued growth.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

- Design and coordinate the implementation of the Group’s Sustainability Strategy .
- Calculate the company’s carbon footprint (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064) and monitor ESG KPIs.
- Prepare the Sustainability Report (GRI/VSME) and help prepare the company for future CSRD requirements and ESG requirements from investors and lenders.
- Support EU Taxonomy assessments , green financing processes and ESG due diligence.
- Identify and manage public grants and funding opportunities , at both national and European level.
- Coordinate social and community initiatives in the areas where we operate, as well as partnerships with relevant industry organisations.
- Actively participate in meetings with local public authorities , fostering constructive relationships and promoting mutual cooperation.
- Support the integration of ESG criteria into procurement processes,



the drafting of corporate policies and the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems .
- Manage corporate communications , including the website, intranet, social and professional networks, media relations and events.

What we are looking for

- 3–5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, communications agencies or consulting, ideally within the energy sector.
- Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
- Knowledge of carbon footprinting, GRI and the EU Taxonomy .
- Experience in public grants/funding and communications will be highly valued.
- Excellent writing skills and a high level of English . Italian or German would be an advantage.
- A proactive, autonomous, enthusiastic and passionate professional with a strong desire to learn, develop and grow with the company.
