In this role, you will develop, integrate, and maintain the embedded software that operates on our satellites, contributing to the performance, reliability, and evolution of space missions.

As a Flight Software Engineer , you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the embedded software that enables our satellites and space systems to operate reliably.

You will work across the flight software lifecycle, from implementation and integration to testing, validation, and software updates. Your work will contribute to the development and evolution of satellite systems, ensuring that onboard software meets the technical and operational requirements of each mission. Develop and maintain embedded flight software for satellite systems and space missions.

Implement software components that run on onboard computers and embedded platforms.



Work with programming languages such as C, C++, and Python , depending on the system and development requirements. Integrate, debug, and validate software in embedded environments, supporting both development and mission-related activities.

Contribute to the implementation and validation of software updates and improvements for satellite systems. Perform software testing, document test results, and identify and resolve issues to ensure software reliability. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware, systems, and payload engineers, throughout the development lifecycle.

Work with Linux-based environments and development tools as required by the project.

Embedded software development experience: Experience developing software for embedded systems, onboard computers, or resource-constrained environments. Solid knowledge of C and/or C++.

Experience with Python or scripting languages is a plus.

Software and systems understanding: Familiarity with software integration, debugging, testing, and the interaction between software and hardware. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience. Willingness to work across software development, integration, testing, and technical documentation.

Linux experience: Familiarity with Linux-based development environments is a plus. Space industry experience (a plus): Previous experience with flight software, satellite systems, avionics, or other safety- or mission-critical embedded applications will be valued.
