Overview

As the Global Category Manager for IT Software & Hardware, you will shape and lead the long-term category roadmap to support Roche Diagnostics instruments. You will partner with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate strategy into value, drive supplier ecosystems, and steer complex negotiations. Your work will accelerate IT hardware and software initiatives, enabling sustainable growth and digital transformation.

ResponsabilidadesDevelop and execute a global Category Strategy and initiative pipeline for IT Software & HardwareLead high-value commercial negotiations with strategic suppliersManage general supplier ecosystems, development programs,



and risk monitoringCreate category guidance documents translating strategy into actionable contentPartner with senior stakeholders to challenge demand/specifications and maximize valueCoach and develop procurement colleagues; oversee budget and work with Associate Category ManagerDeliver commercial impact by anchoring costs and building a resilience project pipeline

Requisitos principales5+ years in strategic and operational procurement with category management and advanced strategic sourcingExperience in regulated industries (Diagnostics) and familiarity with legal and quality risksDeep knowledge of IT hardware and software markets (servers, PCs, OS, databases, licensing)Proficiency with enterprise sourcing tools (eSourcing, eAuction) and procurement systemsStrong communication, project management, and change management skillsFluent business English; willingness to travel up to 30%strategic thinkingcross-functional collaborationchange managementIT Hardware market knowledgeIT Software and licensingeSourcing and eAuction
