Our core business focuses on environmental services and recycling, but we have expanded into other strategic areas such as Health & Nutrition and Life Sciences (flavours, purification, fragrances and ingredients), as well as Port Services.

Within our Life Sciences division, we are currently looking for a Global Technical Director to lead our flavours business.

The Role

As Global Technical Director, you will lead, define, and execute the global technical strategy within our flavours division.

This is a key leadership position, combining strategic vision with operational execution, with a strong presence in the Executive Committee and direct impact on business decisions, innovation, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Organization

- Lead a multidisciplinary technical team (3–6 direct / ~17 indirect)
- Foster cross-functional collaboration
- Act as a key technical reference

Strategy & Business
- Define and execute the general technical strategy aligned with business objectives
- Drive growth initiatives (new markets, lab expansions, international footprint)




- Contribute to Executive Committee decision-making
- Identify innovation and differentiation opportunities

Technical & Operational Leadership
- Oversee Flavourists, Savoury and Applications teams
- Ensure successful scale-up from lab to production
- Improve development, testing and validation processes
- Manage the R&D; pipeline

Regulatory & Quality
- Ensure compliance (IFRA, REACH, food safety, etc.)
- Maintain high quality standards

What We’re Looking For

- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar
- 10+ years of experience in flavours industry
- Proven experience in international environment
- Strong experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Proven background in technical strategy and execution
- Interest in new technologies

Languages

- Spanish: Native or bilingual
- English: Advanced (C1)
- French: a plus
