We are seeking an experienced Investment Operations Associate Director to join our general Investment Administration & Accounting (IAA) function in Barcelona. As an Investment Operations Associate Director you will have the opportunity to: Ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing activities for private debt instruments and alternative investments products Performing monthly reconciliations of private asset holdings, alternative investments products and related cash accounts Acting as a subject matter expert for private markets operations, supporting internal initiatives, system enhancements, and client-specific requirements.

Collaborating with investment teams, custodians, and third-party administrators to resolve complex operational issues. Leading the development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal controls and quality assurance processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation across investment accounting and reporting activities.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.

High School





Diploma (or equivalent) and 7-10 or more years of experience in the Investment Operations area Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience working with private debt asset classes and alternative investments products A proactive, solutions focused mindset to support reporting and operational activities. Ability to cultivate and manage productive relationships with internal stakeholders, key business partners, asset managers, and custodians, with a particular emphasis on supporting private debt operations and alternative investment products Preferred Qualifications And Experience CFA designation is an advantage. 4–5 years of experience in investment operations, financial markets, banking, or insurance, with exposure to private debt and alternative investment products.
