About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist to join our Packaging Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven professional who is passionate about operational excellence, process optimization, and driving sustainable improvements in a GMP manufacturing environment.

Working closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams, you will support and lead improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance while developing your expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the deployment, sustainability, and continuous evolution of Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence (OpEx) programs within Packaging Operations.
- Lead and facilitate improvement initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity.
- Analyze operational data to identify losses, inefficiencies, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including OEE, productivity, yield, quality, and cost performance.
- Participate in structured problem-solving activities using methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5 Why, Fishbone, PDCA, and other CI tools.
- Support Kaizen events, workshops, and cross-functional improvement projects.
- Develop and maintain visual management systems, performance dashboards, and operational reporting tools.
- Conduct process assessments and audits to identify opportunities for optimization and standardization.
- Collaborate with operational teams to improve equipment performance, eliminate waste, and increase efficiency.
- Support training and coaching activities related to Lean principles, problem-solving techniques,



and continuous improvement tools.
- Assist in project management activities, risk assessments, change controls, and implementation of process improvements.
- Ensure all activities comply with GMP requirements, quality standards, company policies, and EHS regulations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence throughout the organization.

Requirements

Education

- University degree in: Pharmacy, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology or a related scientific/technical discipline

Experience & Technical Skills
- Experience in data analysis, process improvement, or project management.
- Strong analytical mindset with solid knowledge of data analysis techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI.
- Strong interest in Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence.
- Nice to have: knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies
- Ability to interpret operational data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Languages
- English level B2 minimum.
- Spanish fluency required.
- Catalan will be considered an advantage.
