Maintain and extend our proprietary engine's VFX systems (particle simulation, materials, post-process effects, rendering/lighting pipeline) Collaborate closely with the Art/VFX department to implement top-quality visual effects and grow our library of VFX components Debug and optimize code to meet quality and performance targets Document code features as you build them Thorough knowledge of C++ Strong technical background (bachelor's degree or comparable experience) Clear communication skills, written and spoken, in English Enthusiasm for making and playing great games Proficiency with modern graphics APIs such as DirectX 12, Vulkan, or Metal Skilled in using CPU and GPU profiling tools to diagnose and resolve bottlenecks Solid grasp of particle system algorithms,
