Overview

In this role you will design, develop and integrate component solutions within SAP-driven workflows. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team to ensure compliant part data, documentation and lifecycle status for high-value projects. You’ll support R&D; and production by managing part numbers, BOM quality, and regulatory compliance, enabling reliable and safe components for customers. This is an opportunity to contribute to strategic, technology-led initiatives with real-world impact. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive data accuracy and supplier-aligned decisions.

Responsabilidades

- Support R&D; engineers in selecting and searching for components in SAP (MM module)
- Review and create part numbers (PNs) following NOR.DEV.TBT010
- Propose alternative components based on approved manufacturers/series
- Configure PN technical characteristics in SAP
- Review BOMs prioritizing RND usage and RoHS/REACH compliance
- Prepare obsolescence reports for contractually required products




- Submit standard certificates for obsolescence predictions (where lifecycle data is limited)
- Review PCB footprints for new PNs
- Technically update PN documentation (SDS, RoHS, REACH, datasheets, etc.)
- Provide technical support for component-related incidents across receiving, production, and field service

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor in Electronics
- Knowledge of SAP MM module
- Basic knowledge of MRP and logistics transactions
- Knowledge of class and characteristic management systems
- Ability to generate reports with QuickViewer
- Experience with component databases: IHS, Silicon Expert, Total Part Plus, AVOCOM
- Excel proficiency for large data sets
- Knowledge of MIL-STD, RoHS, REACH
- Ability to analyze technical documentation and datasheets
- Ability to assess mechanical and electrical compatibility of components
- Ability to identify relevant component standards
