Overview

As a Material Planner at Henkel, you translate the production plan into mid-to-long term MRP to secure material availability. You will monitor inventory health, address MRP exceptions, and identify sourcing risks while driving continuous improvement in planning. You collaborate with site teams to align supply with the production plan at an optimal cost and travel weekly to the Montornes del Valles site. This role supports agile, cost-conscious planning in a global environment.

Responsabilidades

- Translate production plan into mid-to-long term MRP ensuring material availability
- Act on MRP exceptions in line with the production plan/finite schedule
- Review inventory policies, monitor slow movers and obsoletes
- Identify material sourcing risks or opportunities and escalate appropriately




- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning performance
- Ensure correct material ordering quantities and timing, optimize order size and minimize obsoletes
- Collaborate with site and conduct Rough Cut Capacity Planning for material requirements vs. qualified sources
- Weekly travel to Montornes del Valles site near HUB

Requisitos principales

- Degree in BA, Engineering or Supply Chain
- 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Material Planning
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Immediate availability and residency in Barcelona
- Experience with advanced Planning tools (APO, Kinaxis, o9, OMP)
- Experience with SAP ERP
- Team player with a drive to grow in supply chain
- Willingness to travel to Montornes del Valles
