Overview

In this role you drive end-to-end onsite server rack deployments for data centers, coordinating across engineering, sales and operations. You’ll shape design proposals, ensure schedules align with customer timelines, and sustain smooth execution from site surveys to post-install support. The role sits at the intersection of technical design and field delivery, contributing to Supermicro’s growth and reputation in data center infrastructure. You will partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and deliver reliable, standards-compliant installations.

Responsabilidades

- Understand customer requirements and project scopes with sales and FAE teams for onsite rack installations
- Collaborate with design engineers to create design proposals and delivery plans tailored to data center racks
- Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers to secure materials for rack deployments
- Align integration and production timelines with prototyping and mass production needs
- Oversee project schedules for onsite installations and provide status updates to stakeholders
- Lead or participate in customer meetings to discuss status, timelines, and rack requirements
- Review and optimize processes with internal teams to improve onsite support efficiency




- Ensure installation processes meet industry standards and identify improvements
- Perform site surveys to tailor rack configurations to facility constraints
- Coordinate logistics with customer IT/facility teams for deliveries and access considerations
- Supervise physical installation, cable management, and alignment for optimal performance
- Troubleshoot issues during installations and implement timely solutions
- Produce installation documentation and post-installation recommendations
- Provide post-installation support to address customer inquiries
- Travel as required for customer meetings, surveys, and deployments

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor or Master in Civil Engineering/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in project or program management with significant onsite rack installation focus
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and deployment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Willingness to travel heavily, domestically and internationally
- Strong proficiency in English; French a plus
