YOUR TASKS:Act as the main technical focal point for converter suppliers, leading and coordinating all engineering activities related to power converter development and integrationDefine the converter concept, architecture, and detailed technical specifications of power converters for Nordex WTGs ensuring alignment with power electrical system requirementsDevelop converter subassembly designs, specifications, and validation plans, collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers on component qualification and testingCreate and maintain technical documentation related to the main converter, including specifications, manuals, instructions, and certification support documentationSupport and oversee inspections, testing, and validation activities at supplier facilities,



as well as in stand-alone and generator-connected test benchesProvide technical support for sourcing and certification activities, including the identification and validation of alternative converter components and support for wind turbine certification processesPerform and enhance hardware design simulations and simulation tools using Matlab-based environments to support converter development and validationYOUR PROFILE:M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or similar *+3 years in the wind turbine sectorExperience with Matlab is a plusFluent level of English is required (C1 or above) *For foreign qualifications, recognition as the corresponding Spanish degree equivalency is required when applying.
