The Head of Purchasing is responsible for defining and executing the purchasing strategy of the company, ensuring optimal commercial conditions, risk mitigation, compliance with internal policies, and alignment with financial and operational objectives. The role has full ownership of the purchasing processes and governance within the ERP environment.

- Define and implement the purchasing strategy aligned with corporate and financial objectives.
- Lead supplier sourcing, selection, and negotiation activities.
- Establish and manage supplier framework agreements and contracts.
- Own and maintain price lists, commercial conditions, and contracts in the ERP.
- Approve purchase orders according to delegated authority and ensure compliance with approval workflows.
- Manage changes to purchase orders affecting price, commercial terms, or contractual conditions.
- Ensure segregation of duties and compliance with internal control requirements.
- Monitor purchasing performance, savings, and supplier risks.




- Coordinate with Operations to ensure supply continuity within the approved purchasing framework.
- Support audits (internal and external) related to purchasing activities.
- Functional owner of purchasing-related master data (suppliers, price lists, contracts).

Perfil ideal

Key Competencies

- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or similar.
- 6+ years of experience in purchasing within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
- Strong understanding of ERP-based purchasing processes (e.g. SAP, Infor LN, Dynamics).
- Strategic mindset and analytical skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a multinational and cross-functional environment.
- Solid financial and commercial acumen.
- Approval of suppliers, price lists, and contracts.
