Power Markets (Senior) Analyst, Client Solutions – EMEA Department: Software Solutions Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Aurora's Software Solutions team is building the global investment analytics platform for the energy transition. Widely adopted by leading energy companies and investors, the platform changes the way that energy market analytics is performed and delivered. To best enable the user experience, both through product development and analysis delivery, Aurora's integral Client Solutions team provides the critical end-to-end interface between the underlying model development and the end user.

We are seeking an energetic Power Markets (Senior) Analyst to join the team in Madrid, to support our cutting-edge software suite in Iberia and Southern Europe. This role is critical in the expansion of Aurora's software offering, and sits cross-functionally between the Advisory, Product, Research, and Commercial teams at Aurora, demanding power markets expertise and proficiency in using Aurora's software products. The successful candidate will combine astute analytical ability with excellent communication skills and a passion for working with clients.

They will be confident in topics concerning power markets and the energy transition, and eager to work in a creative, intellectually stimulating, and supportive environment where they will play a driving role in one of Aurora's key strategic priorities. Empower leading developers, utilities,



and funds across the power sector to deploy capital to the Energy Transition, by integrating Aurora's software into their strategic investment decisions Host specialized onboarding trainings to guide customers to use the software in order to build and interpret their energy market views Perform feature-bridging analyses for client projects, enabling access to pre-release features and other internal functionality Support clients to leverage insights from Aurora's software during transactions Help answer client questions across a broad range of topics, ensuring they are able to unlock value from the software, and working with other internal teams where escalations are required Leverage insights from customer usage data in order to perform strategic retention activities Business fluency (C1 level) in Spanish and English Strong analytical capabilities in engineering, business, economics, or similar Iberian (or other European) power market analytics experience, preferably with experience of power market models Additional European language proficiency (Portuguese, Italian, French) Health & Dental Insurance Most of our roles are hybrid with a mix of in-office/home working and potentially adjustable working hours.
