The Group Raw Material Planning

Manager is responsible for ensuring the long-term availability of raw materials across Ontex's European manufacturing network, safeguarding production continuity and strengthening supply chain resilience. The role acts as a key link between Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Suppliers, transforming demand forecasts into sustainable supply strategies. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Raw Material PlanningLead long-term raw material planning across European manufacturing sites.

Ensure high forecast accuracy and data reliability.

Resilience & Business ContinuityLead supply chain responses during raw material shortages and crisis situations.

Supplier

Collaboration & Cross-Functional LeadershipLead planning activities within strategic supplier collaboration programs.



Build strong partnerships with Procurement and suppliers. Support decision-making through clear business insights and recommendations.

Establish a standardized methodology for inventory target setting. Benchmark inventory performance across plants and optimize working capital. Lead process improvement initiatives and project implementation.

Systems & Process OwnershipAct as a key user and expert for SAP and Arkieva planning systems. Ensure data quality, governance, and process compliance. Support capability development and knowledge sharing within the planning community.

Key Success MeasuresThe role is accountable for: Raw Material OTIF performance. Inventory optimization and working capital improvement. Business continuity and avoidance of production disruptions. Successful delivery of strategic planning projects.

Increased supply chain resilience and risk preparedness. Cost optimization through effective supplier capacity and inventory management. SkillsStrong knowledge of ERP and planning systems (SAP, Arkieva).Advanced Excel, Power BI, and data visualization capabilities.

Candidate

ProfileMaster's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in supply planning or related supply chain functions. 24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), providing confidential support and guidance for you and your family.
