Experteer Overview
In this role you own the platform strategy and Pu0026amp;L, translating business aims into technical roadmaps and investment decisions. You will align Product, Security, Operations, and Business leadership around a shared direction and deliver reliable, compliant enterprise platforms. You’ll influence architecture while maintaining governance over KPIs, cost-to-serve, and delivery. This position offers impact at scale, shaping platform direction and organizational capability within Allianz Technology.

• Own the platform strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities and enterprise architecture.
• Manage the platform as a Pu0026L: budget planning, forecasting, and investment decisions to maximize business value.
• Align cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Security, Operations, Business) around a common technical direction and delivery commitments.
• Advise leadership as a technology consultant translating complex topics into business terms, risks, and options.
• Govern delivery and reliability through engineering KPIs (velocity, change failure rate, MTTR, availability, cost-to-serve).
• Steer architecture decisions, sponsor reviews, and assess trade-offs to ensure scalability, security and compliance.
• Oversee operational and regulatory soundness: SLAs/SLOs, incident management maturity, and audit/compliance readiness.




• Develop the organization by mentoring tech leads and engineering managers to foster ownership and continuous improvement

Responsabilidades
• 8+ years in technology roles, with 3+ years leading platforms, products, or engineering organizations with end-to-end accountability
• Demonstrated experience managing technology budgets and Pu0026L—planning, forecasting, cost optimization, and investment cases
• A consultant's toolkit: structuring ambiguous problems, building business cases, facilitating executive decisions, and communicating with impact
• Strong understanding of modern platform architecture—cloud, microservices, APIs, DevOps/SRE; ability to evaluate options and assess risk
• Track record of aligning cross-functional stakeholders around technology direction and delivery commitments
• Experience in regulated industries (Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare) strongly preferred (compliance, audit, operational resilience)
• Familiarity with Agile portfolio and delivery governance, engineering KPIs, and vendor/partner management
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Business/Technology, or equivalent experience; MBA or consulting background a plus
• Excellent English for executive communication, business writing, and stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences
