Experteer Overview In this role you will design and specify high-power converter systems (e.G., STATCOM, SFC) to support grid integration and renewable energy. You will own the system engineering scope across projects, collaborating with Sales, other engineering teams, and Project Management. You will run system designs and simulations, set performance and protection requirements, and contribute to process improvements. The position offers global exposure, cross-functional teamwork, and opportunities to influence grid-scale energy solutions.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Design power electronic converter systems from sales to project execution, including customer/site interactions
- Own system engineering scope during project execution in collaboration with Sales, Engineering, PM, and Service
- Perform system design tasks: simulations (harmonics, transients), performance calculations, component specs, control and protection definitions, documentation
- Ensure compliance with standards, customer specs, and grid codes
- Identify risks and opportunities with mitigation measures




- Collaborate with Ru0026D on system design and modeling of converters
- Define and evaluate on-site performance measurements
- Contribute to development of engineering processes through knowledge sharing and conferencesResponsabilidades
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power Systems and Power Electronics
- Solid knowledge in power electronics and power systems with industry experience
- Experience in hydropower or railway sector is a plus
- Experience in power electronics and power system simulations
- Willingness to travel globally (u003c10%)
- Fluent in English; German or additional languages are advantageous
