Role: Site Manager – Solar PV Location: Southern Spain (Andalusia region) (on site) Project: Large-scale utility PV plant including associated electrical grid connection infrastructure (substations and 66k V lines) Construction Programme: Approx. 24 months, start date targeted for late 2026 running through to late 2028 Commitment: 100% (full-time) on site for the duration of the project Working Pattern: Monday to Friday Day Rate: Negotiable - candidates to specify their "all in" rate Full Spanish/EU Working Rights Essential Role Overview Our client, an international organisation, is seeking an experienced freelance Site Manager to provide full-time construction monitoring and independent technical/QHSE oversight on a large-scale utility PV plant and its associated grid connection infrastructure in southern Spain. The role covers the full construction lifecycle, from mobilisation through to commissioning and start-up,



acting as the client's representative on site and reporting into the client on technical and QHSE matters throughout. Scope of Work Construction monitoring from project start to finish Reporting of technical and QHSE matters to the client Schedule review and monitoring against the agreed construction programme On-site presence during commissioning and start-up Attendance at weekly progress meetings with the EPC contractor and the project owner Experience Required Proven track record delivering utility-scale PV plants through construction and commissioning Experience with electrical grid connection infrastructure, including substations and 66k V overhead/underground lines Strong working knowledge of construction QHSE requirements and reporting practices Comfortable working within EPC contractor / owner / independent engineer structures Business levels of English / Spanish language required #J-18808-Ljbffr
