Experteer Overview As a Senior HVAC Engineer at AECOM Spain, you lead the mechanical design of building services, ensuring safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly HVAC, plumbing, and controls systems. You drive technical design across the project lifecycle and coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, and clients. You evaluate design options, perform calculations, and develop specifications to meet codes and standards. - Guide and lead technical design through the project lifecycle
- Coordinate mechanical system design with electrical, architectural, and other design professionals
- Design HVAC, Controls and Plumbing facilities
- Perform HVAC calculations and analysis using standard industry programs
- Conduct design reviews, calculations, and field investigations
- Evaluate cost-effectiveness of design options and recommend alternatives




- Develop technical specifications, plans, elevations, sections and details
- Ensure compliance with codes and engineering standards
- Attend site visits and construction inspections as needed
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to maintain collaborationResponsabilidades
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- minimum 8 years of related HVAC/Mechanical Design experience for buildings
- Strong knowledge of international regulations and standards
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Plumbing and Fire Protection design experience is a plus
- Experience with Revit is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
