Experteer Overview
In this role you will contribute to the design, analysis and execution of overhead transmission line projects as part of AECOM’s global energy-focused team. You will work with senior engineers to deliver engineering deliverables and technical studies across HV/EHV projects. The position emphasizes hands-on design, reliability and adherence to international standards, supporting the energy transition on diverse, worldwide assignments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and clear client communication, making a tangible impact on infrastructure and communities.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Develop HV/EHV overhead transmission line designs and route alignments
• Create tower spotting studies, line profiles and select conductors and insulators
• Verify clearances and right-of-way requirements; maintain transmission line models in PLS-CADD
• Perform sag-tension, conductor blowout, clearance, thermal ampacity, corona and lightning assessments
• Conduct load trees,



tower loading analysis and related engineering calculations (PLS-CADD, TOWER, PLS-POLE)
• Prepare drawings, calculations and design documentation; participate in multidisciplinary coordination
• Provide construction support and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning
• Support client discussions, design reviews and QA processes

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering
• Typically 5+ years of overhead transmission line experience
• Strong practical knowledge of PLS-CADD and experience using TOWER
• Experience preparing transmission line calculations and deliverables
• High level of written and spoken English
