Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead and shape the design of HV/EHV overhead transmission lines and mentor a multidisciplinary team within a general transmission u0026amp; distribution practice. You will drive technical delivery on international projects, from route alignment to detailed design and site support, ensuring high quality outcomes aligned with client standards. This position places you at the forefront of the energy transition, delivering assets that enhance grid reliability and performance. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges and help expand and modernize electrical networks.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Lead the engineering of HV/EHV overhead transmission lines (110kV to 400kV+)
• Develop and review route alignments, tower spotting studies, conductor/earth wire selection, insulation coordination and line clearances
• Lead advanced modeling/design using PLS-CADD
• Perform/review complex line design studies and ensure client/standards compliance
• Coordinate with civil teams for tower loading and foundation design
• Perform/review electrical/mechanical line calculations (sag-tension, conductor blowout, electrical clearance, thermal ampacity, corona, RF interference, shielding, lightning)




• Lead work packages within multidisciplinary transmission projects
• Coordinate with structural, geotechnical, environmental, and power systems teams
• Support project managers in planning activities and managing technical risks
• Contribute to technical proposals, fee estimates, and resource planning
• Review drawings/models/calculations/reports and mentor engineers
• Promote engineering excellence and internal standards
• Provide site support during construction (tower erection, conductor stringing, field design adjustments)

Responsabilidades
• Typically 10+ years in overhead transmission line engineering
• Proven experience on HV/EHV projects (110kV-400kV+)
• Advanced experience with PLS-CADD
• Practical experience with TOWER
• Experience from feasibility to construction support phases
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
