In this Platform Software Engineer role within the Developer Platform team, you build and operate CI/CD systems, tooling, and internal platforms that empower engineers to ship rapidly and safely. You’ll shape the developer journey from code to deployment, while using AI-enabled workflows to improve processes. The role combines distributed systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and developer experience enhancements at a global scale. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and ensure reliability and quality in Preply’s engineering lifecycle.

Responsabilidades

- Build and evolve CI/CD systems, testing capabilities, and paved paths for fast, safe shipping
- Own and improve the developer journey from code to deployment
- Create internal platforms and tooling to reduce friction and scale engineering solutions
- Provide infrastructure and paved paths for autonomous building, testing,



and shipping by engineers and coding agents
- Leverage AI and agentic workflows to enhance the software development lifecycle and establish quality gates and safety nets
- Participate in incident rotation and use data/user feedback to continuously improve the platform
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive adoption of tooling and align stakeholders across squads

Requisitos principales

- CI/CD depth with large-scale pipelines and trade-offs on reliability, performance, and cost
- Extensive backend software design and development experience (~8 years)
- Proficiency in Python xkdbapo for platform services and automation
- Experience with AI and agentic workflows as a thought partner (architecture, business logic, security)
- Background in developer platforms, tooling, or developer experience solutions
- Understanding of cloud-native environments and distributed systems
- Data-driven approach and strong business orientation
- Strong communication skills (minimum C1 English)
