Job title: Optimal design of military equipment based on the dynamics of flexible multibody systems with impact loads.

PURPOSE OF CONTRACT:
Development, implementation and experimental validation of optimization methods, with sensitivity analysis, of flexible multibody systems subjected to severe impact.
Collaborator on activities related to the project/agreement stated.
TASKS TO BE PERFORMED:
The tasks to be performed consist in the development of optimization methods based on sensitivity analysis, of flexible multibody systems subjected to severe impacts.
These tasks include:
a) The theoretical development of the sensitivity equations of adaptable multibody dynamic formulations.
b) Its implementation in a general code of dynamics of flexible multibody systems.
c) The experimental validation of formulations with real experiments in systems subjected to severe impact
- Required qualifications: as indicated in Annex III of the Call for Proposals.
- Demonstrable experience in tasks related to multibody systems dynamics.
- Candidates must be available to travel to attend meetings, events, workshops, and data collection at other facilities.
Specific Requirements
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1.
All applicants must meet the following requirements within the application submission period and maintain them for the duration of the contract:
a) Be a Spanish national or any other national to whom national regulations grant equal rights for employment in the Public Administration.
b) Hold the required qualifications and meet the other requirements specified in the notice.
c) Be at least sixteen years of age and, where applicable, not exceed the mandatory retirement age.
d) Possess the functional capacity necessary to perform the corresponding functions or tasks described in the report.
e) Not have been dismissed through disciplinary proceedings from the service of any Public Administration or from the constitutional or statutory bodies of the Autonomous Communities, nor be in a situation of absolute or special disqualification from public employment or office by court order, from accessing a civil service corps or scale, or from performing functions similar to those previously performed, from which said person has been dismissed or disqualified. If the applicant is a national of another State, it will be required that the applicant not be disqualified or in an equivalent situation, nor have been subject to a disciplinary or equivalent sanction that would, in their State, impede access to public employment under the same terms.
2. The hiring of foreigners from non-EU countries, which will be formalized for the sole purpose of carrying out research or technical tasks, will require the presentation, at the time of signing the contract, of the residence and employment authorization or proof of the existence of a cause for exception to said authorization, in accordance with Organic Law 4/2000 of January 11, on the rights and freedoms of foreigners in Spain, and their social integration and applicable regulatory provisions.

Evaluation criteria:
A. Qualification:
PhD in Mechanical Engineering. Maximum 2 points, depending on the thesis grade: 1.5 points for an outstanding cum laude, 1 point for outstanding, 0.75 for remarkable and 0.5 for pass. An additional 0.5 points will be awarded for an international or industrial doctorate mention.
B. Experience in multibody systems dynamics. Maximum 8 points, which will be achieved at a rate of 1 point per year of experience. This experience will be demonstrated through participation in competitive research projects. Projects on other topics will not be considered.
C. Authorship of scientific articles on dynamics of multibody systems. 1 point per article will be achieved, up to a maximum of 7 points. Only articles in JCR-indexed journals will be considered. D. Knowledge of programming in Fortran (standard 2008 onwards).
3 points, which will be achieved for experience developing software with intellectual property registration or open-source software.
E. Knowledge of experimental techniques for measuring impacts. Maximum 3 points, 1 point per year of experience, proved by participation in related research projects.
F. Knowledge of English. Maximum 1.5 points, depending on the accredited level: C2: 1.5 points, C1: 1.25 points, B2: 1 point, B1: 0.5 points.

- Indicate the duties performed in each of the positions held in the curriculum vitae.
- If there is no candidate with at least 15 points, the call will be declared void.
- A waiting list will be drawn up for admitted candidates who are not selected and who achieve or exceed 15 points.
