The Talent Acquisition

Manager, Iberia is responsible for leading and delivering Talent Acquisition strategies and recruitment outcomes across Spain and Portugal, ensuring the business attracts, engages and hires high-quality talent to support both operational and strategic growth objectives. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, Iberia, Italy & CEE, the role acts as a trusted partner to business leaders and People & Culture teams, translating regional and integral Talent Acquisition priorities into effective market‐level delivery. The role provides leadership across all retail Talent Acquisition activity in Iberia, including management recruitment, internal mobility, talent pipelining, employer branding, new store openings and recruitment transformation initiatives.

Through strong stakeholder partnerships, market insight and data‐led decision making, the Talent Acquisition Manager drives hiring excellence, enhances candidate experience and strengthens Primark's position as an employer of choice across the region.

Talent Acquisition

Strategy & Delivery Lead the delivery of Talent Acquisition strategies across Iberia, ensuring alignment with regional priorities, business plans and workforce requirements. Ensure recruitment activity supports organisational growth, succession planning and long‐term talent requirements. Drive recruitment performance through effective workforce planning, talent pipelining and market mapping activities.

Identify opportunities to improve hiring outcomes, efficiency and quality through continuous improvement initiatives. Build strong and credible relationships with senior operational leaders, People & Culture teams and key stakeholders across Iberia.



Act as a trusted advisor on Talent Acquisition matters, providing expertise on talent markets, recruitment strategies and hiring best practices.

Support leaders in making objective, high‐quality hiring decisions that align with business and talent objectives. Lead and govern internal recruitment and talent movement processes across Iberia. Facilitate the identification and progression of internal talent, supporting career development and succession planning initiatives.

Ensure consistent and fair assessment processes are applied across internal recruitment activities.

Provide Talent

Acquisition leadership for new store openings and major expansion projects across Iberia. Develop recruitment plans that support successful store launches while ensuring strong candidate quality and operational readiness. Partner with cross‐functional teams to deliver recruitment milestones and workforce requirements for new business initiatives. Ensure effective deployment of recruitment resources, suppliers and attraction strategies during growth periods.

Brand & Talent Attraction Champion Primark's employer brand across Iberia, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging in the market. Build external partnerships with educational institutions, community organisations and other talent networks to expand market reach. Support the delivery of regional and global employer branding initiatives while adapting approaches to local market needs.

Recruitment

Excellence & Continuous Improvement Drive a high‐quality candidate and hiring manager experience across all recruitment activities. Monitor recruitment performance through data, insights and key metrics, identifying trends, risks and opportunities. Lead initiatives that improve hiring effectiveness, recruitment processes and operational efficiency.





Support the implementation and adoption of Talent Acquisition technologies, systems and new ways of working. Promote consistency, governance and best practice across all recruitment activity. Vendor & Budget Management Manage relationships with recruitment partners, agencies and external suppliers to ensure quality, value and performance.

Drive a direct hiring approach where appropriate, reducing reliance on third‐party recruitment channels. Maintain effective oversight of recruitment expenditure and ensure resources are managed in line with budget expectations. Continuously seek opportunities to improve return on investment across attraction and recruitment activities.

Ensure recruitment activities comply with relevant employment legislation, company policies and governance requirements across Spain and Portugal. Maintain high standards of fairness, inclusion and consistency throughout the recruitment process. Significant experience within Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or Resourcing functions, ideally within a fast‐paced, multi‐site or retail environment.

Proven experience leading end‐to‐end recruitment strategies and delivery across multiple business areas. Strong experience partnering with senior business leaders and People & Culture stakeholders. Demonstrated success in workforce planning, talent attraction, employer branding and recruitment process optimisation.

Experience managing recruitment projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Strong understanding of recruitment metrics, workforce analytics and data‐driven decision making. Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and recruitment compliance requirements. Strong commercial awareness and ability to align talent decisions with business objectives. High level of English and Spanish; Portuguese would be advantageous.

Experience using recruitment technologies, ATS platforms and talent sourcing tools. Uses data, insight and market intelligence to inform decision making. Champions an inclusive, candidate‐centric and high‐performance culture.
