Are you a senior IT specialist skilled at building, securing, and scaling enterprise-level infrastructures? On behalf of our client, the European Commission, we are looking for a highly experienced DevSecOps & Cloud Infrastructure Expert with at least 15 years of IT experience.

In this role, you will combine Cloud Infrastructure, DevSecOps, Database Management, and Level 3 Support within one of Europe’s most dynamic and complex organizational environments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Service Provider, you will take the lead in managing, automating, and securing the IT infrastructure across the following areas:

- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) & Cloud: Manage and scale infrastructure using IaC best practices, drift detection, policy-as-code enforcement, and tested disaster recovery runbooks (RTO/RPO).
- DevSecOps & CI/CD Pipelines: Build and configure automated pipelines with integrated quality gates (linting, testing, security scanning, SBOMs, secrets management). Implement progressive delivery (Canary, Blue/Green), feature flags, and GitOps.
- Databases & Data Warehousing: Manage and upgrade SG system databases, drive engine migrations (e.g., Oracle to PostgreSQL), and develop ETL processes to support BI systems.
- Observability & FinOps: Deploy monitoring solutions (metrics, logs, traces) aligned with SLOs. Analyze and optimize cloud costs using budgeting, forecasting, rightsizing, and showback/chargeback models.
- Internal Developer Platforms: Design and maintain internal platforms with reusable "golden paths", templates, and policy-based guardrails for self-service infrastructure.
- L3 Support & Incident Management: Coordinate incident response via on-call rotations and blameless post-incident reviews.



Perform L3 troubleshooting in production environments (log analysis, server infrastructure, database checks).

Minimum Requirements (Mandatory Criteria)

- Education & Experience: Master’s degree (EQF Level 7) and a minimum of 15 years of professional IT experience.
- Linux/Unix Systems: 15+ years of experience in administration and management (RedHat Enterprise, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu, Debian, etc.).
- Databases & ETL: 15+ years of experience managing and building ETL processes for relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server).
- Monitoring & Observability: 7+ years of experience with monitoring and log management tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, etc.).
- Containerization: 5+ years of experience with Docker and/or Podman.
- Languages: Working knowledge of both English AND French (minimum B2 level according to CEFR).

Desirable Skills & Technologies

- Container Orchestration & Cloud: Kubernetes, HashiCorp Terraform, Ansible, shell scripting.
- DevSecOps & Interoperability: Experience with Git workflows, Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, Bamboo), RESTful APIs, SOAP, and Apache Kafka.
- Software Stack & Web: Java (Apache Tomcat), Python, PHP, basic front-end (CSS3, JavaScript), and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Certifications (Optional): AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, CKA/CKAD, Docker Certified Associate, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, or DSOE.
