Overview

In this role you will design, develop, and test COBOL-based software across mainframe components, while acting as a subject matter expert. You will join a collaborative team to provide practical solutions for complex work-related challenges. You’ll contribute to implementing and integrating applications and translating requirements into clear designs. You will also lead production releases support and adhere to programming standards, driving meaningful impact in a dynamic financial services context.

Responsabilidades

- Design, develop, and test custom software solutions across system components or applications
- Create implementation or integration approaches for applications and components
- Translate system requirements into detailed design specifications
- Provide primary support for the installation of application releases into production environments




- Design and code applications following programming standards and interface specifications
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to problem solving and solutions

Requisitos principales

- Expert proficiency in COBOL
- Advanced proficiency in CICS Emulators
- 1+ year of experience in relevant related skills
- Technical Diploma in relevant field of studies
- 5+ years in financial sector (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Job Control Language (JCL) (bonus)
- Mainframe Cobol CICS JCL knowledge (required in Spanish project)
