Maintenance and Storage Controller (Test Center)

Arkadia Space is an European company specializing in space propulsion, headquartered in Castellón, Spain. We develop innovative green propulsion systems for the in-space market. Our systems are already flying, and we are scaling rapidly.

We design, build and test real hardware contributing to some of Europe’s most inspiring spaceprogrammes.

As Maintenance and Storage Controller, you will be in charge of the daily maintenance and readiness of the different propulsion test facilities located in Arkadia’s Test Center in Castellón Airport.

Your primary mission will be to ensure that all test benches, ground support equipment (GSE) and associated facilities are properly maintained, safe and fully operational at all times. You will play a key role in guaranteeing that development, qualification and production test campaigns can be executed without disruption.

In addition to technical maintenance activities, you will manage the operational logistics of the Test Center, with a strong focus on inventory and stock management. This will include organizing and maintaining stock levels, controlling material availability, and managing the entry and exit of supplies, consumables, gases, fluids and other materials required for testing activities, as well as coordinating waste management, external services and third parties. This role combines hands-on technical work with operational organization in a fast-paced and growing testing environment.

You will contribute to ensuring a structured,



safe and reliable Test Center operation that supports the growth of the company in its current commercialization stage.

Your responsibilities will include:

Performing preventive and corrective maintenance of propulsion test benches and associated GSE

Maintaining facility systems such as fluid lines, power and communications connections and other Test Center auxiliary systems

Ensuring test benches are prepared and available for scheduled campaigns

Managing consumables, gases, fluids, tooling and general supplies required for testing activities

Organizing and maintaining Test Center inventory, ensuring materials are properly stored, identified and available when needed

Managing material entries and exits, keeping inventory records updated and aligned with operational needs

Coordinating waste management processes, including hazardous and chemical waste

Interfacing with external service providers and suppliers; supporting installation and commissioning of new test benches or facility upgrades

Generating and maintaining documentation and ERP information in Odoo related to maintenance activities and facility configuration;

Ensuring compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations and internal procedures

What you'll need

Higher Vocational Education Diploma (EQF Level 5) or equivalent technical degree in Mechanical,



Maintenance, Electromechanical, Electrical or similar fields

Solid understanding of pressurized fluid systems, mechanical and electromechanical systems, and basic electrical systems

Hands-on experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance

Ability to organize and maintain industrial supply and stock

Ability to work methodically in safety-critical environments

Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of facility readiness

Organized, proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Advanced English, spoken and written

Fluent in Spanish

Nice to have

3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, test facilities, production plants or similar environments, ideally involving high-pressure systems

Knowledge of instrumentation and basic data acquisition systems

Experience managing material entries and exits, keeping inventory records accurate and updated

Experience with hazardous materials handling and environmental compliance

Experience supporting test campaigns or experimental facilities

Familiarity with safety procedures for pressurized or chemical systems
