At FoodChain ID we work every day with our customers on making the food and food contact supply chain safe and transparent. For the expansion of our Packaging team, we are looking for a Junior Subject Matter Expert / Data Manager.

This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional. You'll begin in an administrative role and support our SME team, helping manage food contact compliance documentation and supplier communications. Over time, you'll develop into a full SME, advising on regulations and supporting innovative projects.

What You'll Do (Starting Out):

- Prepare and maintain compliance documentation (DoCs, SoCs, migration assessments)
- Track and organize regulatory documents in internal systems
- Request, collect, and follow up with suppliers for composition data and food contact declarations
- Assist in preparing responses to customer compliance requests
- Monitor changes in general food contact legislation

What You'll Grow Into:

- Provide internal guidance on EU and international food contact regulations
- Conduct regulatory risk assessments and support new product development
- Lead compliance projects and customer interactions




- Represent the company in audits and technical discussions

What We're Looking For:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, packaging, food technology (or similar)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Strong interest in regulatory compliance and supply chain interaction
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
- Residence in Galicia and availability to attend monthly meetings in Coruña
