Detailed Job Description:

As a Technical Project Manager in Spain with Penta Consulting—an industry-leading outsourced partner providing professional and managed services to general OEMs and operators for over 26 years, you will serve as the pivotal operational anchor for major telecom deployment programs. Your daily responsibilities will encompass aligning project scope and priorities, tracking actions, dependencies, risks, and blockers, monitoring technical deliverables and quality, and coordinating Methods of Procedure (MoPs), testing, integration, and acceptance. You will elevate delivery issues and resource gaps while providing executive status updates and recovery plans.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own, develop, and execute comprehensive domain delivery plans, milestones, and project roadmaps.




- Coordinate technical activities, engineering resources, and cross-functional teams across network rollout phases.
- Track actions, project dependencies, operational risks, and blockers with clear owners and target dates.
- Maintain up-to-date records of open action items, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
- Align technical scope, deliverables, and priorities closely with the client project team and vendor stakeholders.
- Monitor technical deliverables, quality gates, and engineering compliance against rigorous standards.
- Coordinate Methods of Procedure (MoPs), testing, system integration, and final client acceptance.
- Escalate delivery bottlenecks, technical impediments, and resource gaps promptly to senior management.
- Provide executive status updates, progress reports, and structured recovery plans for delayed workstreams.
- Ensure seamless collaboration across network rollout teams specializing in SDM (SS&P;) or IMS (IPTel) systems.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related discipline.




- Minimum of 4+ years of professional work experience in telecommunications network rollouts and infrastructure deployment.
- Proven background in technical project management and rollout management within the telecom sector.
- Deep specialized experience in SDM (SS&P;) or IMS (IPTel) telecommunications environments.
- Exceptional tracking, risk management, and milestone coordination capabilities.
- Strong understanding of network testing, integration, MoPs, and acceptance procedures.
- Outstanding stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, and communication skills.
- Mandatory language proficiency: Professional fluency in Spanish (spoken and written).
- Mandatory residency/work authorization: Ability to operate on-site in Spain.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Professional project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master.
- Prior working experience with tier-1 telecom vendors and equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
- Experience managing multi-vendor integration and core network modernization projects.
- Immediate availability for local mobilization in Spain.
