SilverBack is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Structural Engineer to support a major industrial project in Huelva, Spain, currently in the final stages of construction and commissioning.

The role will focus on supporting structural works on site, monitoring construction activities, coordinating with contractors and other disciplines, and assisting with construction completion and handover activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport structural activities during the final stages of construction and project completionMonitor structural steel, concrete, foundations, and erection works on siteReview structural drawings, specifications, and relevant technical documentationCarry out site inspections and construction walkdownsMonitor construction progress and identify outstanding or non-compliant worksSupport punch list, completion,



and handover activitiesCoordinate the resolution of site and construction issues with contractors and engineering teamsWhat We're Looking ForApproximately 3–4 years of experience in Structural or Civil EngineeringPrevious experience working on construction sitesExperience within industrial, process, petrochemical, refinery, mining, metallurgical, xqysrnh or similar projects is preferredExperience with structural steel, concrete, foundations, and/or erection activitiesDegree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related disciplineProfessional working proficiency in Spanish and EnglishCandidates based in Huelva or Andalucía are strongly preferredPackageSite-based in HuelvaNo rotationAccommodation providedFuel support provided
