Data Analyst – AML/KYC

Brussels -50% onsite / 50% remote

Freelance Contract - ASAP until December 2026

Dutch & French & English – good knowledge.

We are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong AML/KYC and Financial Security experience to join a major financial services organisation in Brussels.

You will work at the intersection of business, data and technology, translating business requirements into effective data-driven solutions. You’ll collaborate with Product Owners, architects, SMEs and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse and map data flows, processes, user roles and data issues.
- Gather, analyse and manage business requirements.
- Define data-driven solutions and use cases.
- Support solution design, testing, UAT and quality reviews.
- Translate requirements into clear test conditions and user stories.
- Work with stakeholders to maintain requirements traceability.




- Support reporting, dashboards and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to Agile activities including backlog refinement and sprint planning.

Key Requirements

- 4+ years’ relevant Data Analyst experience.
- Strong, hands-on expertise in AML, KYC and Financial Security.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data modelling.
- Good understanding of BI, reporting, dashboards, Data Vault and Data Marts.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, requirements management and IT testing.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively bridge business and IT teams.
- Dutch & French – good knowledge.
- English – strong written and spoken communication.
