We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong AML, KYC, and Financial Security expertise to deliver data-centric solutions in a banking environment.

Hybrid in Brussels, Belgium: 50% on-site and 50% remote.

Responsibilities:

- Drive business analysis from initial ideation through delivery and continuous improvement.
- Analyse and map data flows, user roles, usage patterns, workflows, and data quality issues.
- Define target solutions, business cases, requirements, and data use cases.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, SMEs, and development teams to validate requirements.
- Maintain requirements traceability and support impact analysis throughout the project.
- Translate business requirements into test conditions for product, performance, and UAT testing.
- Support data architecture design, prototype reviews, solution validation, and quality assurance.
- Facilitate testing, change management, and the creation of reports and dashboards.

Must-have requirements:





- 4+ years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
- Deep hands-on expertise in AML, KYC, and Financial Security data domains.
- Strong experience in requirements management, stakeholder management, and project delivery.
- Proven ability to bridge business requirements and IT solutions.
- Experience with conceptual data modelling techniques and methods.
- Proficiency in SQL querying and MS Office tools.
- Good understanding of big data, BI, reporting, dashboarding, data vaults, and data marts.
- Knowledge of IT testing, workflow processes, and Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Dutch and French.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Analytical, structured, organised, and able to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
